Last week our summer crew went to Mackenzie Nature Observatory (Mugaha Marsh banding station) for 3 days. There they assisted the ornithologists with checking nets (including set-up and take-down), writing down data and releasing birds!
Please note all birds were handled safely and appropriately with an ornithologist nearby.
